- ════════════════════( DOOM 2 PATCH WAD DESCRIPTION FILE )═════════════════════
- Title : "Vector Deth IV"
- Filename : VDETH4.WAD
- Author(s) : SiNGE (known in reality as the humble Nick Bousman)
- Email Address : vectorsoft@gamesnstuff.com
- Misc. Author Info : Fearless leader of Vectorscope Software
- Date Released : 10/9/95
-
- Description : Finally, the fourth WAD in the Vector Deth series!
- If you like this WAD, try out the others, they're
- just as good. I had a great time making this one.
- I love all the switches and cool effects. I should
- do things like that more often. Great lighting
- effects. Best of the vdeths so far.
- This one might be a little complex so I'll explain.
- the the lower left-hand corner of the level,
- there's a switch that raises an invisible fort.
- Unless you're touching the walls, you'll be
- protected from all weapon attacks. To lower the
- fort, just activate the invisible wall as if it
- were a door. Also in the lower left-hand corner,
- there's a secret closet where you can hide and kill
- people going through the big brown door. There are
- three switches in the closet. The ones on the sides
- just open the big doors. The one in the back of the
- closet will lower the invisible fort and expose
- whoever is in it. I should probably write more help
- on this level (some testers were having a hard time
- understanding some stuff in it), but I'm too lazy.
- And if you have any questions, just E-mail
- Vectorscope! (hehe)
-
- Additional Credits to : Brian Vannatta
- The Danzig series is one of the best sets of
- DeathMatch levels for Doom2 I've ever seen.
- Keep up the good work! Hey, E-mail us if you
- ever get to play any of the vdeths.
- All the happy testers on Urbanite:

- ─ Play Information ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
-
- Episode and Level # : Map 04
- Single Player : Yes. Never agree to a DeathMatch in a WAD you don't
- know unless you don't mind getting splattered.
- Check out this WAD *before* you play.
- Cooperative 2-4 Player : You could, but what would be the point?
- Deathmatch 2-4 Player : If you haven't guessed, this is what the level's
- entire existance is based upon.
- Difficulty Settings : Nope. (There ARE monsters in the level though.)
- New Sounds : ┐ Once there's 10 or so levels in this series,
- New Graphics : ┼─ we'll create a whole PACK of DeathMatch levels,
- New Music : ┘ possibly with new sounds, graphics, 'n music.
- In the vpak, we'll put in more scenery, make
- the amount of monsters better, fix bugs, etc...
- Demos Replaced : None
-
- ─ Construction ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
-
- Base : New level from scratch
- Editor(s) used : WADED 1.42 (I'd register if it weren't so buggy.)
-
- Known Bugs : Hmm, I couldn't really find any.
-
- Time : Like the others, about a week. Actually, this one
- took a bit longer to complete. Lotsa online
- testing to insure fun, fun, fun!
-
- ─ Copyright / Permissions ────────────────────────────────────────────────────
-
- Authors MAY NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels unless
- they contact the author (Me!) first and get permission.
-
- You may distribute this WAD, provided you include this text file, with
- no modifications. You may distribute this file in any electronic
- format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file
- intact with the WAD. If a profit is to be gained by such distribution (such
- as CD-ROM WAD collections), you must first contact the author (Me again)
- first.
-
- BTW, this WAD is shareware. That means if you use it for more than, oh say,
- I dunno, one DeathMatch, then you gotta register. All the registry requires
- is that you E-mail us and tell us you like the level. ;D
- But DO E-mail us! How will we know if all you Doomers like this level?

- examples of our other projects. And if you liked this WAD, try out
- UNDERG.WAD, a fun single-player or cooperative mode Doom 1 PWAD.
- And of course, if you like this WAD, you'd probably like all the other
- WADs in the VDETH series.
